Players at a Craps Table

If you are wanting thrills, boisterousness and more entertainment than you can likely stand, then craps is simply the game to play.

Craps is a fast-paced game with whales, low-rollers, and everyone in between. If you’re a people-watcher this is one casino game that you will love to observe. There is the whale, playing with a huge bank roll and making boisterous declarations when he wagers across the board, "$520 across," you’ll hear her say. She’s the player to observe at this table and they know it. The whale will either win big-time or lose big and there’s no in the middle.

There’s the budget gambler, most likely attempting to acquaint himself with the high-roller. He will inform the other bettors of books he’s read on dice throwing and bum around the hottest tosser at the table, prepared to talk and "pick each others brains".

There’s the disciple of Frank Scoblete most recent craps workshop. While Frank is the best there is, his devotee will have to do his homework. This guy will require five mins to arrange his dice, so apply understanding.

My favorite people at the craps table are the real chaps from the good old times. These senior gentlemen are generally composed, mostly kind and will almost always share advice from the "good old days."

When you take the plunge and choose to join the game, make sure you use proper etiquette. Locate a position on the rail and lay your money down in front of you in the "come" area. Refrain from doing this when the dice are in motion or you’ll be referred to as the final personality I wished to talk of, the jerk.
